History

Initially developed as a homologation model car to confirm to DTM and Group A Touring norms, the M3 was first introduced at 1985 Frankfurt Motor Show. With production starting in March of 1986, the first generation was built. BMW Motorsport GmbH, responsible for the production, ensured the M3 would only share the same roof and doors with the standard 3-series. Sporting a195hp 2.3L S14 inline-four engine along with its aerodynamic body kit and low kerb weight, the M3 E30 will allow you to go far and fast in comfort! The car can also be recognised by its revised suspension, improved ABS braking system, and five-speed dog-leg manual gearbox.
This ’86 edition was the first generation to be built and trademarked by its incredible analogue driving experience. Various newer generations were produced after and a number of special editions were introduced. Throughout the years, the car has undergone slight mechanical modifications, either for aesthetic purposes or to confirm to Motorsport homologation changes. Newer generations include the ‘Evolution’ and ‘Sport Evolution’ models, all of which were used to compete with, e.g., Prodrive and Schnitzer.

Specs
The current and original owners have made sure the car and all original components stay intact, an incredibly rare feature on a first generation M3 E30. This M3 has never undergone any modifications and is still as pure as you want to find them. Even a radio is not on board! The sober edition of this example, however, is the most unique to find these days. For the past fifteen years the car has not driven anymore, with the exception of a few hours on a sunny Sunday. Of course we give the car a complete service check before it hits the road again.
